A Long Road Back

And so it begins... the first post in a number of years! I apologize for those of you who might have actually tried to follow this blog all those years ago. I've been pretty busy doing - well lets be honest - I wasn't doing anything, I just forgot. If only I could say I had been traveling the world, saving the lives of orphaned and hungry children or that I had miraculously become a movie star and couldn't afford to spend days writing about my "life." None of that would be the truth. I have however started a major journey known as Medical School. I'm closing in on the end of first year (a year of basic science study including anatomy, biochemistry, immunology, cell biology, musculoskeletal, and medical neuroscience) of sitting on my ASS for hours at a time reading about things that are important/not interesting or not important/interesting and trying to decipher what is important to those who are working to make me a physician.

Since I was here last, along with the whole medical school thing, I also bought a house: isn't it ridiculously cute?

Unfortunately my grass doesn't look like this anymore... I kill just about all things yard related except fire ants - those buggers just never seem to die! Anyway, I've started using twitter (BMitchell7) and instagram (Brittney_Mitchell7) more often. Mainly because the creators of The Veronica Mars TV show started a campaign to make a movie and basically blew it out of the water with donations and now the movie is going to be released in just over a week. This means that everyone associated with the movie (ie - the cast) has been all over the web hyping it up! Okay, shameless plug over - I feel bad that I didn't get to donate to the Kickstarter campaign that series creator Rob Thomas and star Kristen Bell started - so I keep trying to force people to go see it so that it makes $$$. Hopefully, this time I'll be more keen to keep this page updated. If for some reason it's been a while, hit me up on Twitter or Instagram and I'll get right on it :)
